Metaxall and Mechanism of Action
Patient/caregiver was instructed upon metaxall and mechanism of action as follows: Damage to the muscles from injury and sprain can disrupt the nerve messages being conducted. This can cause some overactivity of muscles and sudden unexpected involuntary muscle contractions, called spasms. These sudden spasms can lead to poor coordination between the muscles and consequent complications.
