Patient/caregiver was educated on precautions to be exercised while taking Metoclopramide as follows: Metoclopramide is mainly metabolized in the liver and excreted by the kidneys in urine. If liver function is deficient, the metabolism of Metoclopramide can be compromised. Individuals with renal disease cannot excrete Metoclopramide and metabolites normally.
