Contraindications for AZO Use-3
Patient/caregiver was educated on contraindications for using AZO as follows: AZO is metabolized in the liver to two important metabolites, acetaminophen/tylenol and aniline. Allergy/hypersensitivity to Tylenol and aniline in general population is a common occurrence. So, AZO should be avoided in individuals with history of allergic response to Tylenol or aniline.
