Patient was educated on the side effects of using Januvia as follows: Stomach upset Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea are the most common side effects of using Januvia. Hypoglycemia Januvia can increase the action of incretins, contributing to increase in insulin secretion, thereby reducing the blood sugars. Januvia can sometimes result in episodes of serious hypoglycemia. Muscle pain Januvia can sometimes increase risk of muscle and skeletal pains and fatigue.
