Patient/caregiver was instructed upon therapeutic uses of Zyprexa as follows:

Psychosis

• Zyprexa helps with controlling the racing thoughts associated with the psychotic states and thus, helps with controlling the unrealistic fears and illogical thought processes psychotic patients may have.

Bipolar disorder

• Zyprexa can be used to control the agitation and anxiety associated with manic phase of bipolar disorder.
• Zyprexa can also be used with other antidepressants, such as, fluoxetine, for management of symptoms during the depressive phase of bipolar disorder.
