Panic disorders and dysphoria
- By allaying the fears and calming down anxiety, Xanax can help with offering relief with panic disorders and dysphoric states.
- Xanax can also be used to calm the anxiety associated with pre-menstrual syndrome.
Seizure disorders
- Xanax by inhibiting the nerve impulses can help with reduced excitation of nerves, thus contributing to seizure control.
- Xanax can be used as an anticonvulsant, for seizure control, in combination with other antiseizure medications.
