Patient was educated on veins as follows:

1. Veins are blood vessels leading from various parts of the body to the heart.
2. All veins with an exception of pulmonary veins, carry deoxygenated blood.
3. Veins have thin non-elastic walls and pressure is low in the veins.
4. Veins have valves, preventing reverse flow in the veins. Blood flows under low pressure in the veins.
