Patient was educated on systolic blood pressure as follows:

  1. Systole is the phase of heartbeat, in which the heart contracts and pumps blood out of the heart.
  2. The blood pumped out of the heart will reach all the organs in the body, flowing through the various arteries.
  3. The blood pumped out of the heart, into the arteries, creates a pressure in the arteries.
  4. Systolic blood pressure is the pressure created by the blood in the arteries, when the heart contracts.
  5. Any number on systolic, less than 90 is considered low and more than 120 is considered high.
