Patient was educated on systolic blood pressure as follows:
- Systole is the phase of heartbeat, in which the heart contracts and pumps blood out of the heart.
- The blood pumped out of the heart will reach all the organs in the body, flowing through the various arteries.
- The blood pumped out of the heart, into the arteries, creates a pressure in the arteries.
- Systolic blood pressure is the pressure created by the blood in the arteries, when the heart contracts.
- Any number on systolic, less than 90 is considered low and more than 120 is considered high.
