Patient was educated on signs and symptoms of anemia as follows:
- The major symptoms of anemia arise from inability to transport oxygen and nutrients by the red cells.
- Since the oxygen supply is deficient to the organs, patient usually suffer from the following findings:
- Shortness of breath, especially on exertion.
- Rapid heartbeat.
- Limited endurance and listlessness.
- Pale skin and mucous membranes.
- Dizziness and difficulty concentrating, due to reduced supply of oxygen to the brain.
