Patient was educated on foods to be incorporated in a low fiber diet as follows:
- Choose white bread and food items made of refined flour over whole grain bread and food items made of whole grains, such as, oats, wheat, barley.
- Choose well-cooked vegetables over raw and undercooked vegetables.
- Choose white rice over brown rice.
- Choose fresh fruits without skin and seeds over dry and whole fruits with skin and seeds.
- Choose fruit juice with no pulp over fruit juice rich in pulp.
