Patient was educated on foods to be incorporated in a low fiber diet as follows:

  1. Choose white bread and food items made of refined flour over whole grain bread and food items made of whole grains, such as, oats, wheat, barley.
  2. Choose well-cooked vegetables over raw and undercooked vegetables.
  3. Choose white rice over brown rice.
  4. Choose fresh fruits without skin and seeds over dry and whole fruits with skin and seeds.
  5. Choose fruit juice with no pulp over fruit juice rich in pulp.
