Anxiety

• Inhibition of serotonin reuptake with Prozac contributes to improved relaxation, promotion of feelings of contentment and happiness.
• So, Prozac can be used for mood enhancement and management of mild agitation and anxiety.

Substance abuse

• Prozac can also help with smoking cessation and in the treatment of alcohol abuse.
