Patient was educated on contraindications for using Flagyl as follows: Flagyl should be used with extreme caution in individuals taking blood thinners like Warfarin. Flagyl enhances the therapeutic effects of Warfarin and increases the thinning, making the individual prone for bleeding diathesis and internal hemorrhages. Flagyl is significantly eliminated in urine. Individuals with compromised renal functions cannot eliminate Flagyl and thereby, result in increased blood levels of the drug for longer duration, leading to toxicity. [...]

Contraindications for Using Flagyl-1
