Patient/caregiver was educated on who can avoid getting tested for COVID-19 infection as follows:
The following individuals exposed to risk of infection with the virus by coming into close contact with someone diagnosed with an active COVID-19 infection could avoid getting tested.
- Individuals who tested positive for the virus in 3 months before contacting someone with this disease, completely recovered without any complications, and not developed any symptoms of COVID-19 from the new exposure.
- Individuals who have completed the vaccination schedule for the viral disease and not developed any symptoms of COVID-19 from the new exposure.
