- Allergic rhinitis is a condition that occurs with breathing in material that one is allergic to.
- The common allergens include pollen in the air, dust mites, animal dander, and vehicle exhaust.
- Rhinitis secondary to pollen inhalation occurs mostly during the spring season, though it can happen during other seasons too.
- Allergic rhinitis secondary to pollen is called Hay fever or seasonal allergy.
- Common symptoms include itchy and runny nose, watery eyes, and excessive sneezing.
