Patient was educated on the process to maintain a nebulizer as follows:

1. Nebulizer parts are detached and cleaned after every single use.
2. The nebulizer cup and mouthpiece are cleansed using mild soap and warm water and rinse with water.
3. The extra water is shaken off.
4. The parts can either be air dried or the nebulizer parts could be assembled back and the air compressor turned on, which can help the parts dry quickly.
5. The oxygen tubing is difficult to be cleansed and so, is replaced every 2 weeks.
