Patient was educated on management measures for dyspepsia as follows:
- Eat several small meals in a day rather than three big meals. Eating big meals can lead to abdominal fullness, and make individuals more prone for symptoms of dyspepsia.
- Individuals with lactose intolerance should avoid milk and milk products.
- Try eating slowly at regular intervals. Eating fast can lead to increased swallowing of air, abdominal fullness, and make individuals more prone for symptoms of dyspepsia.
- Try avoiding foods that are more gas producing.
- Cut down on soft drinks and beer, which have a lot of gas in them.
