Patient/caregiver was instructed upon therapeutic uses of Haldol as follows:

Schizophrenia

• Haldol can be used for controlling the hallucination, delusions, lack of concentration, and apathy, associated with schizophrenia.

Psychosis

• Haldol is used to treat control the aggressive behavior associated with psychosis.
• By controlling the excessive excitation of the brain, Haldol helps with promoting sedation, controlling the racing thoughts associated with the psychotic states and thus, helps with controlling the unrealistic fears and illogical thought processes psychotic patients may have.
