Patient was instructed on foods to be avoided in low fiber diet as follows:
- Avoid whole grains such as, oats, wheat, barley, and quinoa and food items made of whole grains, such as, whole grain bread.
- Avoid any dry fruits, nuts, and seeds, such as, figs, almonds, and pistachios.
- Avoid any legumes and lentils, such as, black beans and lima beans.
- Avoid vegetables such as, potatoes with skin, green peas, carrots, tomatoes, and broccoli.
- Avoid any fruits with skin and pulp, such as, pears, apples, oranges, and berries.
