Patient was educated on blood pressure and the numbers to be remembered as follows:
- Blood Pressure is defined as the force exerted by the blood on the walls of the blood vessels.
- This is usually given as two numbers, systolic, the upper number and diastolic, the lower number.
- The ideal numbers on this reading is 120/80.
- On the upper number, any number less than 90 is considered low and any number more than 120 is considered high.
- On the lower number, any number less than 60 is considered low and any number more than 80 is considered high.
