Patient was educated on arteries as follows:

1. Arteries are blood vessels leading from the heart carrying oxygenated blood to various organs of the body.
2. All arteries with an exception of pulmonary arteries, carry oxygenated blood.
3. Arteries have thick muscular wall and pressure is high in the arteries.
4. Arteries do not have valves. Blood flows under high pressure in the arteries.
