Patient/caregiver was educated on when quarantine is not needed for COVID-19 as follows:
- Quarantine keeps an individual who has contacted someone having an active COVID infection and could have been exposed to the risk of COVID-19, away from others.
- But the following individuals could avoid the quarantine process despite coming in contact with someone infected with the virus.
- Individuals who tested positive for the virus in 3 months before contacting someone with this disease, completely recovered without any complications, and not developed any symptoms of COVID-19 from the new exposure.
- Individuals who have completed the vaccination schedule for the viral disease and not developed any symptoms of COVID-19 from the new exposure.
