Patient was instructed on foods to be avoided in low fiber diet as follows:

  1. Avoid whole grains such as, oats, wheat, barley, and quinoa and food items made of whole grains, such as, whole grain bread.
  2. Avoid any dry fruits, nuts, and seeds, such as, figs, almonds, and pistachios.
  3. Avoid any legumes and lentils, such as, black beans and lima beans.
  4. Avoid vegetables such as, potatoes with skin, green peas, carrots, tomatoes, and broccoli.
  5. Avoid any fruits with skin and pulp, such as, pears, apples, oranges, and berries.
