- A good acid base balance has to be maintained, for the body to function properly.
- As part of regular body metabolism, numerous acids are produced.
- These acids have to be neutralized or eliminated from the body, to prevent them from becoming toxins and harming the body.
- Kidneys help in neutralizing and eliminating these toxins and maintain a healthy functional state.
