Patient was educated on risk factors for dyspepsia as follows:

  1. Individuals with very irregular eating habits.
  2. Individuals with uncontrolled episodes of acid reflux are more prone for dyspeptic attacks.
  3. Irritable bowel syndrome.
  4. Foods items, such as, chocolate and mint.
  5. Excess of caffeinated drinks can also precipitate episodes of dyspepsia.
  6. Individuals with episodes of anxiety and air hunger.
  7. Alcohol abuse and cigarette smoking.
  8. Individuals with history of peptic ulcers.
  9. Individuals with any obstruction to the passage of food in the stomach, secondary to any tumors.
