Patient was educated on right and left heart as follows:
- The human heart is divided into four chambers. It has two chambers on the right and two chambers on the left.
- The two chambers on the right comprise the right heart and the two chambers on the left comprise the left heart.
- The right heart has deoxygenated blood and the left heart has oxygenated blood.
- The superior vena cava is a vein draining deoxygenated blood from the upper body, above the heart level into the right heart.
- Inferior vena cava is another vein draining deoxygenated blood from the lower body, below the heart level into the right heart.
- The blood from the right side of heart will enter the lungs to pick oxygen and become oxygenated.
- The oxygenated blood from the lungs will enter the left side of heart and the left heart will pump the oxygenated blood to the various body parts through the arterial system.
