Patient/caregiver was instructed upon therapeutic uses and mechanism of action of Levetiracetam as follows:
- Levetiracetam is an anticonvulsant medication used to prevent epileptic attacks and control propagation of seizure activity.
- Levetiracetam is used to treat partial, myoclonic, and tonic-clonic seizures.
- Mechanism of action of Levetiracetam is unknown.
- Levetiracetam can also be used for management of chronic neuropathic pain and relief from migraine attacks.
